Module 8 | As your prompt, you are asked to assemble learning technology tools for your tool-kit. What you put in your tool-kit should be strategic. Therefore organize your tools as you see fit (you can use the structure in this module if you like). Briefly explain your organization and demo a few tools, by example. Think about how they would be used as a teaching tool through the library. |
In recent years, I have used a number of web tools to help enhance a project; colleagues would request as to why I would always be in the lab. My response: "Look at everyone. The students are engaged. These web tools aid in students' creativity." Because there are numerous web tools, I now look at Twitter and follow specific teachers, technology specialists and teacher-librarians. I like how I can use Twitter purely for educational purposes. Here, I will find reviews and promotion of web tools and how to successfully use them in a classroom.
For my tool kit, I have selected a number of web 2.0 tools I have used before and some ones which have been recommended from colleagues and past courses. This will be an ongoing collection. I will continue to collect, review and use specific web tools that will suit the needs of my students.
